What would happen if you burned a dolphin?

What would happen if you burned a dolphin? With fire? Suppose the dolphin tried to jump through a ring of fire, but panicked and messed up or you held a blowtorch to its skin for five seconds (aprox.)? These are mammals who have evolved for thousands of years under water, I very much doubt their skin would be able to handle fire seeing as they’re species have never known about this very real force of nature.

No animal skin has evolved to handle fire. A land animal’s skin is no better at it than a sea animal’s. Fire is not a selective pressure for animals, it generally destroys them outright. Animals have evolved the ability to get away from fire.
