Will Benedryl work for sea food allergies?

I’m allergic to sea food, but I love it so much and for my 14th birthday I want to go to Red lobster. So, I was wondering if Benedryl works?

No Benedryl will not be enough to save you if you really have a sensitivity to the proteins or iodine in shellfish. Sadly, you better forego the restaurant. If you are exposed again your airway can close up and you can die.

Ha! Bring your epi pen with you and be ready to call 911.

Benadryl only works for minor allergies. A seafood allergy can be life-threatening. Please don’t do it!

You can try alternatives to medicine; there are natural herbs that are available for different types of allergies, and you also have the possibility of trying acupuncture.
